Dopapod
Dopapod exists at the crossroads of full throttle
intensity, deep pocket groove, intricate
technicality, and limitless experimentation. With no
regard towards limiting themselves to stylistic
boundaries, the sound that emerges from the quartet
both live and in the studio is as varied and diverse
as the many influences that they adapt from. Their
approach and commitment to complementing a distinct
genre bending sound to top-notch musicianship has
set them apart from many of their contemporaries and
keeps music lovers eagerly returning to shows.

The Breakfast
The
Breakfast is a hard-hitting jazz rock experimental
quartet whose music ranges from progressive rock to
sonic landscapes. The band has played well over 2500
shows since 1999 under their former moniker
“Psychedelic Breakfast”. Since then, they have
toured nationally, won a Jammy Award for Best New
Groove, and amassed a musical catalog not to be
reckoned with. Featuring Tim Palmieri on guitar
(also from Kung Fu, The Good Time Boys, and Beatles
A-Z), Chris DeAngelis on Bass (also from LoEndFreque),
Adrian Tramontano on drums (also from Kung Fu) and
Jordan Giangreco on keys (also from Viral Sound)...
this band has a rabid following, and for good
reason. We couldn't be happier than to announce The
Breakfast will play two sets and break their
"Hiatus" for us at Fusion Festival.

The Stepkids
The Stepkids
are a three-piece with an impressive musical
résumé-- their members have shared stages and
performed in the touring bands of Lauryn Hill,
Alicia Keys, and 50 Cent. With the release of their
eponymous debut record on Stones Throw, they step
into center stage, a place where the glare shines
not only on their chops as musicians, but also on
their personality as a band and their ability to
carry off these impressively formed, iridescent soul
songs. - Hari Ashust, Pitchfork Magazine

Sparkplug with Scott
Murawski
Organist Beau Sasser and drummer Bill Carbone spent
several years as the other two-thirds of the late
legendary soul-jazz guitarist Melvin Sparks’ trio.
At first, most nights were marked by Sparks’
distinctive brand of constructive criticism, both on
stage and off. But Beau and Bill listened and
learned, and soon the three developed an undeniable
chemistry. Scott Murawski is best known as the
legendary guitar player from Max Creek, and he will
join Sparkplug on this special occasion!

Roots of Creation
"RoC is more than 'just' a Reggae band... they cover
anything...(dubbed out, of course) and can as easily
break into a dance-hall strut splattered w/
electronic slurs...ranging from political-themed
righteousness to the sweet, sexy, and downright
dirty... a festival staple!" - Jeff Wallace

Jeff Bujak
Jeff Bujak is a Northampton, MA based keyboardist
/producer/composer who has designed a new style of
dance music that dives deep into the waters of
complex electronica and he’s carving a fresh path in
the live-music scene one performance at a time.
Though, if you ask a Jeff Bujak fan to describe his
music, a blank face followed by a smile would prove
to be a common trial answer, then usually words like
‘dirty’ and ‘epic’ start pouring out. His music
falls into a large pool of electronica dance genres,
lands on one and leaps to the next while he wails
away on his keyboards to create something truly
moving, smart and original.

Roo
Joseph
Nicora aka Roo born in 1978, exploded his unique
style of deep progressive house into the east coast
rave scene back in '97. His impressive gigs include
legendary parties such as the Boo events in NYC, the
Tunnel and Lime Light. Roo, previously known as D.J.
Mavrick, has touched on break beats, trance, glitch
and even found his own style in dirty electro house
keeping the vibe positive and all kinds of dirty. He
is no stranger to summer music festivals. He's made
appearances at New York Harvest Festival, Camp Bisco,
Heads in Harmony and Camp Coldbrook. Keeping with
his theme of constant progression, Roo now finds
himself somewhere between deep house, tech, and
dirty disco.
